HiTech History

How We Came to Be

Greg and Rachel Carruthers established HiTech in 2012. Prior to this Greg was a director in his family’s photographic and electronics business. He introduced telecommunications sales and support to the business in 2004, right as this became such an important day-to-day industry. As a result, Greg established himself as the local expert in this industry, and he and Rachel started their own independent branch on the back of Greg’s reputation and expertise.

Our director

Matt King

Matt joined our business family in 2015 as store managed. Matt helped us establish as an Authorised Apple Reseller and began to include computer sales and networking solutions. Greg, Rachel and Matt all live and work in the South Gippsland and Bass Coast area. They are so proud to have been providing exception sales and support to our customers for many years and to be raising their young families in this thriving and supportive community.
